IPAF training is provided third party through an IPAF registered training centre.

Who this course is for

This programme is designed for managers, supervisors and operatives who use or oversee the use of, powered access equipment in a work environment. This course is approved by the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF).

Delivery

This course is delivered using a blend of classroom based tutorials and practical activities.

Location

Courses are available at training centres nationwide. This course can also be delivered on your premises subject to minimum delegate numbers and suitability of the venue. Please contact us for information.

Certification

An IPAF Photo ID Card and Certificate will be awarded to successful delegates. The IPAF Photo ID Card and Certificate are both valid for 5 years.

Assessment

This programme is delivered using a blend of classroom-based tutorials based and practical activities to support the effective operation of the machinery.

Delegates must successfully pass both a theory and a practical assessment to be awarded the IPAF Photo ID card and certificate. Successful delegates will receive the official IPAFSafety Guide Logbook.

Additional Information

The content of this course includes awareness of the periodic examinations of equipment. The course does not provide full training in the maintenance of equipment. Additional training relating to this subject may be of benefit to delegates. Further information is available upon request. Practical exercises will not include falls of any kind. The delegate will not be deemed competent in rescue procedures.

Entry Requirements

Delegates attending this course must be aged 18 or above and be physically and mentally fit to withstand the rigours of training.

It is also important that delegates who attend this IPAF course have a good understanding of written and spoken English.
