About this course
Asbestos-Containing Materials (ACMs) are potentially hazardous substances most often found in buildings constructed before the year 2000. Under the Control Of Asbestos Regulations 2012, only persons who have completed the requisite training are allowed to undertake work that might necessitate the disturbance or safe removal of ACMs. Our Asbestos Removal Course has been compiled as a direct result of our involvement in the building maintenance sector, and completion will enable you to safely remove non-licensable ACMs efficiently and cost-effectively.
Our Asbestos Removal Course can be taken as a direct follow-on to our Asbestos Awareness Training – and undertaking both courses will help to minimise the costs of your asbestos awareness and safe handling training. With the ability to undertake specific asbestos removal jobs in-house, you’ll free yourself from sub-contracting to specialist asbestos removal companies and benefit from substantial financial savings as a result. Whether you’re involved in demolition, property renovation or housing maintenance – our non-licensed asbestos removal courses could save you a great deal of time, money and hassle, as well as give you a distinct advantage over your competitors. Our intensive training takes one full day and includes practical aspects that you’ll find invaluable in everyday situations. Upon completion a CSP certificate will be issued, valid for 12 months in line with HSE guidelines.
