Kent County Council Skills Bootcamps
In partnership with Kent County Council, we offer fully funded or co-funded training for individuals and businesses within the construction sector.
Civil Engineering and Groundworks Skills Bootcamp:
Funded by Kent County Council
Working in partnership with Kent County Council, we can provide individuals who live or are employed by companies who are based in the Kent County Council or Medway Council area in the Construction sector with financial support to train and upskill staff in Level 2 Civil Engineering and Groundworks Bootcamp (including plant operations and / or New Roads and Street Work Act accreditation (NRSWA)).
- Funding available, depending on where you live or your employer base
- Fully funded for self-employed individuals
- Enhanced Site-Ready Training
- Civil Engineering or Road Building / Highways Maintenance NVQ included
- CSCS and CPCS Card on Achievement (ride on roller, forward tipping dumper, or Slinger) and / or New Roads and Street Works Act accreditation (NRSWA)
- Delivered at employer’s premises or on-site (flexible delivery models)
- NVQ achieved while staff are at work and earning
- Duration – 16 weeks
- Assessors will guide and support staff through the NVQ process
- Employer contribution dependent on the size of the organisation
All candidates receive a Skills Bootcamp in Civil Engineering and Groundworks OR Roadbuilding / Highways Maintenance Level 2 Qualification while obtaining their Blue Skilled CSCS Worker Card and Red CPCS Trained Operator Card or NRSWA accreditation

Construction Site Management Skills Bootcamp:
Funded by Kent Country Council
This programme is aimed at upskilling construction workers to gain the skills and knowledge needed to progress within the construction to more senior roles such as Site Supervisor, Team Leader, and Site Manager. The programme includes an accredited qualification in Occupational Work Supervision and New Roads and Street Works Act (Supervisor), OR Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) OR Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS)
