The City & Guilds 2392 – Initial Inspection and Testing qualification not only demystifies testing, it also provides you with a qualification and certificate to show you are competent to undertake the work. It’s a very essential skill and qualification to have for anyone undertaking electrical installations.


This 2392 course covers both practical hands onn skills and theory teaching. It is taught in a dual purpose classroom which allows you to put into practice the skills you are learning.


Courses are available at training centres nationwide. This course can also be delivered on your premises subject to minimum delegate numbers and suitability of the venue. Please contact us for information.


You will take an online multiple-choice exam as well as a practical assessment on the last day of the course.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification. However, we must ensure that all our candidates have the potential and opportunity to successfully gain this qualification.

Candidates are expected to have a basic knowledge and understanding of electrical science and principles experience of electrical installation either within the electrical industry or allied trade is a must.

This qualification is not approved for use by candidates under the age of 18. City & Guilds will not accept any registrations for candidates under this age.
