About this course

This programme is designed for managers, supervisors and operatives who may require fall arrest protection.

The Safety Harness Awareness course covers the following:

  • Legislation relevant to the use of safety harnesses
  • Risk assessment
  • Prevention of falls
  • Fall arrest systems
  • Safety awareness including practical exercises
  • Organisation and planning regarding the correct use of safety harness equipment

Who this course is for

This programme is designed for managers, supervisors and operatives who may require fall arrest protection.

It is important that all delegates have a good understanding of spoken and written English.

Delivery

This course is delivered through a combination of theory and practical exercises delgates will need to bring a servicable harness with them.

Certification

Construction Skills People accredited certificate or NPORS Card/Certificate.

Assessment

This course combines classroom-based tutorials with practical exercises and group discussions.

Additional Information

Delegates attending this course should bephysically and mentally fit to withstand therigours of training. For training held at yourown premises please ensure you canaccommodate the number of delegatesattending, and provide a 240v power supply.If NPORS accreditation is required delegateswill need to provide a passport photograph atthe start of the course. NPORS registration is£27.50 per person.
