In partnership with East Sussex Country Council, we offer fully funded or co-funded training for individuals and businesses within the construction sector.

Introduction to Construction Labouring – Groundworks:

Funded by East Sussex Country Council

This programme is aimed at giving individuals who wish to enter the construction industry with the technical skills, safety certifications, and behavioral readiness to secure employment in construction and civil engineering. The programme includes awareness of health and safety in Construction, detection of buried services, handheld disc cutter safety and either specialist National Plant Operator Registration Scheme (NPORS) and Construction Plant Competence Scheme (CPCS) training.

* Employees must attend the training sessions to complete the course

Pathways to Accelerated Apprenticeships:

Funded by East Sussex Country Council

This programme is aimed at individuals wishing to start a career in the construction industry and will provide CSCS Health and Safety training and core construction principles

Construction Site Supervision:

Funded by East Sussex Country Council

This programme is aimed at upskilling construction workers to gain the skills and knowledge needed to progress within the construction to more senior roles such as Site Supervisor, Team Leader, and Site Manager.  The programme includes an accredited qualification in Occupational Work Supervision and New Roads and Street Works Act (Supervisor), OR Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) OR Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS)
