Greater London Authority Skills Bootcamps

We are proud to work in partnership with the Greater London Authority (GLA) to provide fully funded or co-funded construction training for individuals and employers across London. Our programmes are designed to help people gain the skills, qualifications and confidence needed to progress into sustainable employment within the construction and civil engineering sectors.

Civil Engineering and Groundworks Skills Bootcamp:

Funded by the Greater London Authority

Through GLA funding, eligible residents living within the GLA area can access high-quality training at no cost (or reduced cost for employers). This support enables learners to gain industry recognised qualifications through our Level 2 Civil Engineering and Groundworks Skills Bootcamp, which may include:

  • Plant Operations
  • New Roads and Street Works Act (NRSWA) Accreditation

What the Programme includes

  • Fully funded for unemployed residents or self-employed individuals
  • Co-funded options available for employed learners, depending on employer location and eligibility
  • Enhanced Site-Ready Training
  • Civil Engineering or Road Building / Highways Maintenance NVQ (Level 2)
  • CSCS Card and CPCS Card upon achievement (Ride-on Roller, Forward Tipping Dumper, or Slinger) and/or NRSWA accreditation
  • Delivery at multiple locations across the GLA area
  • Dedicated assessors to guide and support learners through the NVQ process
  • Duration: 16 weeks

All participants will achieve a Level 2 Skills Bootcamp qualification in Civil Engineering & Groundworks or Road Building / Highways Maintenance.

Our trainers and assessors provide ongoing support throughout the programme to ensure learners have the best possible learning experience and the skills required for employment.

Learners Commitment

Learners must attend all training sessions in order to complete the course and receive their certification.
